January 7,2016
This is basically the first day of our 3rd quarter in ADTech, also known as arts, drafting and technology. Mr. Oropesa imtroduced us to our new scheme, which is metal workd. He gave us a small talk about how we will do our project. In addition, he made us do the P.I.E.S (abbreviation for Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Social) in formulating questions and ideas for artifacts. We also thought of interviewing our Values Education teacher, Mr. Apostol(commonly known as sir Apo)
This'll surely be a great quarter for all of us! ☺☺☺
January 13,2016
Today, we tried to interview Sir Apo. We looked for him all over the campus, only to know that he had not been here all along because he was actually in Naga. So instead, we just documented about us and the school. In addition, we formulated more questions using P.I.E.S.
January 14,2016
Finally, sir Apo is here! We interviewed him and we were actually fascinated on how he answers our questions. It was full of wit and simplicity. It was like he is already contented with his life and does not ask for more. That is why, at first, we had a hard time thinking about what to do.

January 19,2016
We formulated ideas about what we can do in accordance to our interview yesterday. Sir Oropesa also taught to us a new innovating technique, S.C.A.M.P.E.R., a technique that enables idea generator to create at least seven ideas from one idea. It means Substitute, Combine, Adapt, Magnify/Minify, Put to other use, Eliminate/elaborate, Reverse/Rearrange. It was helpful too, just like the P.I.E.S. With that, we thought of different such as an organizer with file storage and revolving shelf.
January 20, 2016
We finally ended up in an idea, a revolving shelf with file organizer. On this day, we also made a prototype out of paper. We also planned on the length, width and overall size.
January 21-26,2016
We formulated our design task, design brief, design requirement, constraints and considerations, top five criterias, and evaluation criteria(also known as the design process). We also sketched it on paper, and made the design on AutoCad.

WEEK 2
________________________________
February 2, 2016
We now have our metal sheet with us. First, we analyzed our design and its' measurements. Then, we plotted lines on our metal sheet according to its' measure. We cut it, then there you have it. We now have the base.
February 3-4,2016
There was a small misconception about the measurements, so we had a new design. we made the base where the files will be kept, and its' foundation.
Week 3
___________________________________
February 10 - 11, 2016
Today, we continued on doing our metal artifact. We cut some more pieces and folded it. We asked Sir Oropesa on how to drill metal. He told us to put it first under a sturdy piece of wood and then hold the drill on a 90-degree angle so that we will be able to drill it properly and safely. We let him drill our prototype first so that we will be able to do it on our final work. Since we had the chance to be on a double period, we continued on drilling all sides and it was successful. We cleaned our area thereafter. Here are some photos:
WEEK 4
___________________________________________
On this week, we were able to learn how to put rivets ans also how to use the riveter. we were able to finish one container, but we think that we should replace it with a new one next week. by the way, we thank aven, dioni and jed for helping us three.
Week 5
__________________________________________
After we have finished riveting, we now tried grinding. it was really fun, though there was a risk of not aligning the edges. we also cut wood for the base of our organizer.
WEEK 6
March 7-11,2016
This week, we polished most of our angle bars so that it will look and fit better. We also started welding the angle bars for the foundation of the whole artifact. Just a few more steps and we are done!

Just as we are about to end, we would like to thank our very own ADTECH teacher for guiding us all the way through.
Til' the next fruitful and prodictive quarter!
